Angelique Addeo

Angelique Addeo was born March 17, 1988 in Astrakhan, a small town on the delta of the Volga river near the Caspian Sea. In search of a better life, Angelique’s family moved to St. Petersburg during the fall of communism. Soon after arriving in the grand city at the age of seven, Angelique started attending school and music school, and began dancing as a ballerina at the renowned Vaganova Ballet Academy. At nine years of age, Angelique was approached by a children’s modeling agent to attend modeling school. At age fourteen, she was signed by the Nevsky Fashion House in St. Petersburg.

Angelique moved with her family to Canada at age eighteen. She continued to model in Russia and Europe. Her first big break was for Guess Finland on Helsinki billboards and store ads. This was soon followed by Italian ads for Barilla, DKNY, Pantene, and various catalogues in the U.K. Instead of allowing her to move to Milan, Angelique’s parents insisted she pursue a college degree, so she pursued editorial work in Canada and the rest of North America.

Through her agency AMP and representation by Russian Waves in Moscow, she was able to book ads for Dior Sunglasses, Ray Ban, Lacoste, Hugo Boss, La Vie en Rose, and Holt Renfrew. Angelique also did runways for fashion weeks in Toronto, Moscow, and St. Petersburg. Her schedule was rounded out by catalogue work for Bay, Sears, and La Vie en Rose in Canada, Finland, and Russia.

Angelique has also been featured in magazines such as Shape, Elle Canada, Toronto Life, Flare, and Chatelain in Russia, Europe, and Canada.

As Angelique studied business in college, and worked as a model, she also pursued acting in her spare time. She studied with the Actors Network in Canada and private coaches in Toronto.

In 2008, Angelique moved to Los Angeles to pursue further acting training at Stella Adler, where legends like Marlon Brando studied their craft. Her move to L.A. also allowed her to pursue commercial modeling work in L.A., as well as garnering a Wild Colonials interview for MTV in 2006.

In her spare time, Angelique likes to stay grounded, hang out with friends, read books, yoga, snowboard, surf, and, of course, eat good food.
